Methodology
The Headphoneify score is a weighted aggregate of critic reviews, normalized to a common 100-point scale.
Headphoneify follows trusted audio and technology publications for scored headphone reviews. When we can match a review to a product, we record the score and link back to the original article. Scoreless but useful product-specific articles are kept as extra reading rather than converted into made-up numbers.
Different publications use different rating scales. Every score is normalized to 0–100.

Each source has a quality weight. Audio specialist publications receive high weight, and the final score is calculated with a weighted average.
Scores are refreshed as new reviews are found. We prefer direct product-review links, and we do not turn scoreless articles into made-up scores. If there is not enough verified evidence for a chart or score breakdown, Headphoneify hides that element until the page has enough real source depth to make it useful.
To cut through the noise of modern tech media, Headphoneify utilizes advanced programmatic algorithms and Large Language Models (LLMs) to track prices, analyze review sentiment, and monitor product lifecycles in real-time.
While we use AI to synthesize daily news briefs and summarize the consensus of product reviews, all data is strictly grounded in verified tech journalism. Our AI engine is explicitly prevented from hallucinating specifications, inventing rumors, or writing unverified claims. It exists solely to read thousands of data points across the web and deliver a definitive, expert-level buying recommendation directly to you.
