Anker Soundcore Space One

Look, for $99, the Anker Soundcore Space One isn't just a good deal, it's a statement. Anker has clearly been paying attention, and they've delivered a pair of headphones that punch well above their weight class. The adaptive ANC is surprisingly effective, silencing the drone of daily commutes and office chatter with an ease that belies their budget price. Sound quality, while not audiophile-grade, is robust and pleasing, with enough clarity to enjoy your music without feeling like you're missing crucial details. The inclusion of LDAC support is a welcome bonus for those who appreciate higher fidelity wireless audio. These are the kind of headphones that make you question why you'd ever spend more.

While a few minor quibbles prevent the Space One from reaching true greatness – perhaps a touch more refinement in the mids, or a slightly more premium feel to the materials – they absolutely dominate their price segment. The battery life is phenomenal, the fast charging is genuinely useful, and the overall package offers a level of performance that will satisfy the vast majority of users. If you're in the market for competent noise-canceling headphones without breaking the bank, the Anker Soundcore Space One should be at the very top of your list. They're a smart buy, plain and simple.
