Corsair HS80 MAX Wireless

Corsair has clearly listened to the feedback, and the HS80 MAX Wireless is a significant step forward. For $189.99, you're getting a truly versatile headset that moves beyond the PC-centric limitations of its predecessor. The dual-mode wireless – 2.4 GHz for low-latency gaming and Bluetooth for mobile or secondary audio – is a game-changer for anyone who juggles multiple devices. IGN's praise for the improved wireless audio and the frankly astonishing 130-hour battery life on Bluetooth isn't hyperbole; this headset simply refuses to die. Tom's Hardware is right to highlight its expanded platform support, making it a solid choice for console gamers on PS5, Switch, and Mac users as well. This isn't just a gaming headset; it's a productivity and entertainment hub that happens to excel at in-game audio.

While it sits in a competitive mid-tier price bracket, the HS80 MAX MAX justifies its cost with an impressive feature set, as TechRadar notes. The custom 50mm neodymium drivers deliver a robust soundstage, and the comfortable memory foam earcups make marathon sessions a breeze. The build is solid, with a floating headband that distributes weight evenly, and the omni-directional mic is clear enough for team comms and calls. If you're tired of constantly charging your peripherals and want a single, high-performance wireless headset that can handle everything from competitive shooters to your daily podcast rotation, the HS80 MAX Wireless is a compelling, no-nonsense option that gets almost everything right.
